Strategies for Building a Parenting Environment and Parenting Methods for the Younger Generation

The authors identify two reverse strategies for building a parenting environment (one starting from ideological foundations to the choice of parenting practices, and the other from the choice of parenting practices to their ideological foundations). The paper presents the results of an analysis of methods of forming consciousness, organization and encouragement of work in the context of the younger generation’s attitude to them.

The Formation of the Motivational Component of Professional Development of Future Special Psychologists

In this article the results of comparative analysis of the notion «professional development», presented by Russian scientists-researchers, stresses the need for its consideration from the point of view of modern trends in professional education. Components of professional formation of future psychologists are special: target, motivational, substantive, procedural and reflexive evaluation. The motivational component represents a set of personal, cognitive and professional motives.

Development of Ethno-cultural Tolerance in Adolescents under Conditions of General Educational Process

The article presents the results of theoretical analysis of the problem of development of ethno-cultural tolerance in adolescents under conditions of an educational process. It is shown that ethno-cultural tolerance is one of the major value-related orientations of adolescents. It describes context- and process-related characteristics of formation of ethnical tolerance of a personality in adolescence. The author singles our principles, major methods and forms of its development under conditions of general educational process.

Personal Upbringing under Conditions of Additional Education Based on Polycultural Approach

The theoretical analysis of a problem of realization of polycultural approach in social education is presented in article; the essence of the concept «polylevel of culture» of the personality, it making is defined; the contents and ways of the organization of pedagogical activity in the conditions of additional education; the description of variety of the subcultures forming sociocultural space of the educational organization is given.

Metaphor in the Diagnostic Toolset of a Teacher

We list the data of the theoretical analysis of the problem of diagnostic means of studying. It has been shown that the teacher's use of the metaphor for studying the processes of meaning formation in students allows to expand the range of available means of pedagogical diagnostics. It is noted that metaphor reflects the processes of meaning formation by the subjective component. We present the results of the study of meaning in metaphors (final reflection) in the graduates of SSU (sample N = 88 people) concerning their participation in the pedagogical interaction.

The Correlation between the Empathic Potential and Literary Development of the Child-reader

The article demonstrates mechanisms of empathy of junior students during the lessons of literary reading. The article reveals the criteria of classification of conditions for obtaining higher education by various categories of people with disabilities. It analyses the main models of organization of professional education in different countries and lists major principles of rendering help in the course of disabled students’ adaptation in the course of receiving higher education.

Level Characteristics of Intensity of Attitude Towards Nature in the Junior Schoolchildren

The present article discusses the problem of forming the basics of environmental consciousness in the children of primary school age. It describes practical experimental work which has been car­ried out with the younger students of city schools. Diagnostics of school children has been carried out by means of the «Naturafil» method developed by V. A. Yavsin. This method is aimed primar­ily at identifying child’s personal attitude to nature. Evaluation of child’s attitude intensiveness is performed by perceptual-affective, cognitive, practical and progressive scales.
