System of Continuing Professional Education of Teachers of Foreign Languages (Aspect of Professional Autonomy)

The author regards such important factor of professional autonomy of the teachers of foreign languages in the context of continuing education as pedagogical consulting. That is why in the article are described some ideas of the author for the phases of training and improvement of professional skill of teachers of foreign languages. The aim of this phases of continuing pedagogical education is a professional autonomous teacher of foreign languages as a consultant.

Developing Professional Cross-Cultural Competence of University Students

The article presents theoretical analysis of various approaches to defining the criteria of professional intercultural competence formation. It is shown that among these criteria it is logical to single out motivational, cognitive-operational, activity-related, and reflexive criteria. The article describes implementation levels for the technology of forming professional intercultural competence in students (preparatory level, level of intercultural interaction, reflexive level), which include joint activity of students and teachers.

Propaedeutic Learning of Geometry in the Fifth and Sixth Grade as a Foundation for School Students’ Personal Development

The article discusses the problem of studying propaedeutics in geometry in the context of school student’s personal development. It supplies analytical data regarding concepts, which support integrated learning of sterometry and planimetry. The author presents an original scheme for learning (applying) propaedeutics in the context of school students’ personal development. At that, the author uses the term “interpenetrating figures”, which was introduced by I. S. Yakimanskaya for flat, two dimensional solid figures.

Specifics of Teenagers’ Social Success Formation

The article presents theoretical analytical data regarding the problem of teenagers’ social success formation. Social success is a precondition and consequence of social interaction. It indicates the ability of a person to realize him/herself in a society as a socially functional subject, determine his/her own goals, and achieve them. The study cleares up the specifics of teenagers’ social success formation based on the combination of factors: configuration of values and needs of a teenager; “We” – concept, intra-group position of a schoolchild.

Pedagogical Tolerance as an Integrative Trait of Specialist’s Personality

The article presents the results of empirical study of personal qualities, which determine pedagogical tolerance of future educators (N=193). Polling methods (V. V. Boyko’s “Method of general communicative tolerance”; V. V. Boyko’s “Method for determining conflict-resistance level”; AV. Karpov and V. V. Ponomaryov’s diagnostics of reflection; S. Badner’s “Method for determination of tolerance to uncertainty”; T. Dembo and S. Ya.

Educational Technology: Regional Course «Family. Family Values»

Described the unique experience of the system of education of Penza region in the sphere of the gender approach. Represented by the regional project ?Family-know?, containing materials, intended for the construction of the pedagogical process with pre-school age. Noted that the teacher’s book ?The Family. Family Values? contains materials that you can use in the professional activity of the class teacher of the students of 9–11 grades, curator of student groups in professional learning education. Describes the ways of pedagogical influence in elective course.

Optimization of Life Quality for University Students Provided by the Tutor

The article introduces pedagogical context of university students’ “quality of life” category and the process of its optimization. It defines principles of pedagogical provision of university students’ quality of life optimization provided by the tutor. Realization of these principles allows the tutor of the group of students to implement pedagogical support of this process during extra-curricular activities, due to change of his/her functions.

Continuity of Educational Process in the Context of Triune Socialization of a Person

The study presents innovative interpretation of human socialization as a system of processes of social adaptation, autonomization and support of personal development. It gives theoretical substantiation of the concept of triune socialization, uncovers its opportunities for solving the problem of continuity of education and upbringing, social and personal development. According to the concept of triune socialization, support is viewed as a purposeful process; unlike upbringing, this process is entirely built upon educatee’s subjectness.

Ombudsmen for Participants in the Educational Process as a Subject of Social and Educational Activities

Institute of Ombudsmen for participants of the educational process is an important part of the educational process. Constant monitoring of legal compliance of the education process (monitoring, surveys, questionnaires) is used to protect students from homework overload and current tests. Speeches of ombudsmen at parent meetings and teacher councils provide an opportunity for participants of the educational process to obtain not only legal information, but also to solve problems in a civilized manner.

From Experience of Preparing Teachers to Work with Migrant Children in the United States

The article is devoted to analysis of the experience of preparation of teachers to work with children of migrant workers established in the educational space of the USA, the author reveals the main characteristics of the content, technology, value orientations of future teachers.
