“Gift” as a stigma: The role of self-stigmatization in the giftedness crisis and personal identity deformation in adolescents

The relevance of the study is due to the fact that adolescence is a sensitive period for the development of giftedness and the formation of a stable personal identity, a system of relationships with oneself and other people, which can be hindered by experiencing social stigmatization. In this context, identification of socio-psychological resources for maintaining subjective stability and proactive development of personality giftedness in the crisis conditions of the modern educational environment seems to be necessary.

Characteristics of online of youths’ activity and its psychological effects as predictors of internet addiction

The relevance of the research is determined by the fact that studying the characteristics of youths’ activity in a virtual environment in relation to its psychological effects allows us to obtain some data on new predictors of internet addiction. The research purpose is to study the characteristics and psychological effects of the youth’s network activity as predictors of internet addiction.

Cultural memory as a meaningful foundation of an individual’s ethnic identity

Relevance: in the modern transitional world cultural memory is becoming a key resource for adapting to rapid changes. It allows maintaining a human dimension in the digital era and fi nding common ground in a world of multiple truths. The study purpose is to analyze cultural memory based on fundamental beliefs when interpreting historical events. It also aims to empirically verify the contributions of cultural memory to ethnic identity.

Peculiar reactions to frustration and coping strategies of psychology students with different levels of hardiness

The relevance of the study is due to the growth of both emotional and physical stress of students majoring in psychology. In this regard, it is important for intending psychologists to develop psychological resistance to the situations of frustration. The purpose of the research is to study the correlation between the types of coping strategies and reactions to frustration of students with diff erent levels of hardiness.

Value predictors of deviant activity of youth in real and virtual environment

The relevance of the study is determined by the growing prevalence of deviant youth activity both online and in real life, which highlights the need to search for its value determination. The purpose of the paper is to identify the value predictors of deviant youth activity in real and virtual environments. The study hypothesizes that the deviant activity of young people in virtual and physical environment is determined by value predictors.

Correlation of economic activity characteristics and values of the Russian and Hungarian youth

The relevance of the study is determined by the lack of research on the values of young people in Russia and Hungary, as well as the extent of their similarities and differences in relation to economic activity. The research aims to study the substantive characteristics of the correlation between the economic activity and values of young people from Russia and Hungary. The research hypothesizes that there are characteristic differences in correlation between the economic activity and values of the Russian and Hungarian youths.

Value foundations of regulating social relations

The study is relevant due to the necessity to substantiate the signifi cance of values in the regulation of social relations in current complex social conditions. The study purpose is to analyze the influence of modern values on the social and psychological components in the regulation of social relations including institutional trust, values and goals of society, assertiveness, social and moral norms, and attitude to law. The study hypothesizes that the values of equality, social interdependence, and work activity are decisive in the regulation of social relations.

Аннотация. Определяется психологический фокус исследования солидарности в отличие от смежных дисциплин. Для политологов это метод манипуляции вниманием и поведением избирателей, для социологов – показатель сплоченности групп, заданный демографическими характеристиками. Философы и культурологи рассматривают солидарность как способ общественной организации, типичную культурную практику.

Профессиональная идентичность как фактор отношения к межпрофессиональной интеграции: обзор современных зарубежных исследований

Показано, что профессиональная идентичность является значимым фактором, влияющим на формирование отношения к интеграции и межпрофессиональному взаимодействию. Высокая профессиональная идентичность способствует устойчивому положительному отношению к интеграции, однако на фоне устоявшихся профессиональных стереотипов возможны снижения открытости и доверия в межпрофессиональном взаимодействии. Установлено, что преодоление стереотипных установок через образовательные программы повышает готовность к интеграции.

Ценностные предикторы девиантной активности молодёжи в реальной и виртуальной среде

Актуальность исследования обусловлена ростом распространения девиантного поведения в виртуальной среде, что приводит к необходимости выявления ценностных предикторов, определяющих склонность молодежи к таким проявлениям как в Сети, так и в реальности. Цель: выявление ценностных предикторов девиантного поведения в реальной и виртуальной средах у молодёжи. Гипотеза: девиантная активность молодежи в виртуальной и физической средах обусловлена ценностными предикторами. Участники: N = 280, в возрасте 18-39 лет (М = 20,5, SD = 3,2; 83,2% — жен. пол, 16,8% — муж.
