The relevance of the study is determined by the the necessity to understand the contribution of various aspects of one’s lifestyle to the structure of the adults’ perception of aging in order to further construct a productive old age of the population. The research purpose is to tudy the infl uence of the components of a healthy lifestyle and psychological well-being on a positive view on aging. The study hypothesizes that a healthy lifestyle and psychological well-being contribute to the formation of a positive image of aging.

This study is relevant because socio-psychological well-being of children is rarely researched due to the diffi culty in identifying its indicators, which vary at diff erent stages of primary socialization. A partial solution to this problem is feasible if the concept of “socio-psychological well-being” is developed and its operationalization and psychometric verifi cation of the model on a specifi c age sample are conducted. The aim of this study is to carry out a psychometric verifi cation of the structure of socio-psychological well-being.

The research is relevant due to the necessity to explore how gaming motivational mechanisms reduce internal tension and shape gamers’ identity in massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPG). The aim of the research is to investigate the role of gaming motivation shaping virtual identity and hardiness of young gamers. Hypothesis: gaming motivation correlates with reduced internal tension and infl uences the formation of gamers’ virtual identity in cyber space.

The study is relevant due to the complex nature of the retirement experience, which requires mental recovery and future planning. The aim of the study is to explore characteristics of pre-retirement individuals based on their stage in the retirement planning process. Hypothesis: Proactive coping strategies and long-term personality orientation are linked to the retirement planning process. Social and demographic factors (level of education, presence of dependents in the family) are signifi cant in planning the retirement transition.
