Pedagogical work with “diffi cult teenagers” in Russia in diff erent educational paradigms

The relevance of the study is determined by the growing number of teenagers with signs of deviant behavior and, as a result, by the necessity to organize a system of effective work with them. The declared multi-paradigm approach allows us to select the forms and methods of work that optimally correspond to the context of interaction. The study objective is to identify the most common approaches to working with so-called diffi cult adolescents in liberal, socially oriented, and learner-centered paradigms of a person’s upbringing.

Enhancing personal development training for prospective teachers at Saratov State University

Relevance: the modernization of professional education is necessary due to the demands made by both state and society to foster professionally signifi cant personal qualities in future teachers. Therefore, this article examines the positive experiences of Saratov State University in enhancing personal development training through academic classes and extracurricular activities as part of pedagogical education of undergraduate and graduate students. The details of this positive experience are worth replicating in other educational contexts.

Waldorf Education is a Pedagogy Based upon the Principles of Anthroposophy

Waldorf education is a pedagogy based upon the educational philosophy of udolf Steiner, the founder of anthroposophy. udolf Steiner wrote his first book on education, The Education of the Child, in 1907. The first school based upon these principles was opened in 1919 in response to a request by Emil Molt, the owner and managing director of the Waldorf-storia Cigarette Company in Stuttgart, Germany. This is the source of the name Waldorf, which is now trademarked for use in association with the educational method.
