Peculiarities of Emotional and Personal Well-Being in the Representatives of Socionomic Professionals (Doctors and Psychologists)

In modern society that is characterized by rapid changes, instability, turbulence, the importance of socionomic specialists work is increasing, as their main function is to help people. The prominent representatives of this professional segment are doctors and psychologists. Such personal qualities as responsibility, discipline, and empathy are necessary for specialists to effectively carry out professional activities, provide timely and high-quality assistance to those in need.

The phenomenon of “professional life” in the methodology of the synergetic approach is considered as an open, unstable system. The subject of research is age dynamics of professionalism and its components (creativity, operating style, leadership style) in subjects at the age range of 25–55.

Relationship between Adaptation and Coping Behaviour of International Students in Russia

The purpose of the study presented in the article is to generalize theoretical and empirical studies on the relationship between adaptation and coping behaviour of international students in Russia. There is a pronounced tendency towards the increase in international students wishing to obtain higher education in Russia. Not only the “geography” of international students is expanding, but the number of Russian universities willing to enrol the students is also increasing.

Structure and Types of Cognitive Schemes of the Psychological Well-Being

The paper presents the results of theoretical and empirical study of psychological well-being from a cognitive point of view, as a mental representation, including the experience of responding to the diverse dynamic challenges of a social situation. We suggested that psychological well-being is a mental schema. We presented the results of the empirical study performed on a sample (N = 111, aged from 18 to 40 years old), divided into two age groups: 18–25 years old (n = 55) and 26–40 years old (n = 56), using adapted questionnaire by R. A. Steffenhagen and J. D.

Managerial Competencies: Factors of “Necessity and Sufficiency” in the Description and Explanation of the Phenomenon

The study discusses results of the series of studies of competencies and features of their evaluation by managers (69 people) of different gender, age, length of employment, managerial experience, and positions, who are working in different companies. It describes the main attributes of a transitional society (instability, uncertainty, projectivity, multidirectionality, multivariability, innovativeness, etc.), indicating its institutional and value-related changes, their irreversibility, as well as unity of preservation and negation of rules, norms and values, old and new worldviews and world orders, their conflict and alternativeness.

The purpose of the study presented in the article is to investigate the collective memory features of four generations of Russians in relation to the current situation in the country. Presumably, the generations of baby-boomers, X, Y, and Z, differently assess Russian history periods and view them as possible models for the present, while socio-psychological characteristics of generations are associated with a certain modality of collective memory images.
