Attitude of Russian teachers to cultural diversity in difficult pedagogical situations: Experience of qualitative analysis

Student-related cultural diversity is a phenomenon that characterizes most Russian schools. Intercultural interaction between teachers and students is discussed in the article from the perspective of the model called “Diversity in Organizations: Perception and Approaches” developed by M. Tatar and G. Gorenchik.

Analysis of Relationship between Commitment to Civic Engagement and Socio-Psychological Characteristics of Students

The purpose of the study presented in the article is to identify the relationship between commitment to civic engagement and sociopsychological characteristics of the individual. Loneliness is one of the fundamental problems of modern people. However, loneliness is traditionally associated with negative expressions and characteristics, at the same time it may also have a resource function. The relevance of the study is associated with its focus on the multifaceted understanding of loneliness and identification of its resource mechanisms. The purpose of the study presented in the article is to identify stereotypical ideas of pedagogy students about schoolchildren. Presumably, there are differences in the content and the degree of manifestation of stereotypes among students – future teachers and future teachers-psychologists, which may be due to the difference in types of their pedagogical activity and varying degree of their training level in the field of psychology.

Attitude to Loan and Debt: the Role of Financial Competence and Personal Traits

The purpose of the study presented in the article is to investigate peculiarities of attitude to debt and loans, as well as financial competence in young people that took part/did not take part in the professional game called “Loan Portfolio”, which is aimed at increasing the level of financial competence. We compared the attitude to debt and loan in the respondents before and after the introduction of laws aimed at the protection of borrowers’ interests.

The relevance of the study is associated with insufficient information regarding forms of social activity of an individual taken in conjunction with characteristics of their respective activities and features of manifestation of this relationship in young people belonging to different age groups. Its goal is to identify the most typical areas of manifestation of young people’s social activity considering age development dynamics in relation to characteristics of the activities carried out within them.
