The Role of Family in Professional Self-Determination of Psychology Students

The article presents pilot empirical research data regarding the role of family in professional self-determination of psychology stu­dents. The study was carried out on a sample of students (n = 28, 19–21 years old) with application of psychological and diagnostic toolset: I. L. Solomin’ «Orientation» questionnaire; S. A. Pakulina and S. M. Ketko’s questionnaire called «Motivation of students’ learning»; questionnaire with retrospective analysis of motives for choosing fu­ture profession.

Level of Trust and Risky Behavior Motivation in Representatives of the Youth Emo Subculture Group

The article presents theoretical analysis of the problem of the inter­relation of notions «risk», «trust», and «risk motivation». It presents the perspective of social and psychological study of subculture repre­sentatives’ peculiarities; subculture group «emo» is taken as an exam­ple. Utilization of psychological and diagnostic tools («Express-scale of trust» M. Rosenberg, original questionnaire for studying expression of risk motivation) on a sample of teenagers, who belong to some subculture, allowed todetermine, that the level of trust in this group is very low.

Peculiarities of Interrelation between Social Views on Profession and Self-actualization of Students’ Personality

The article presents the results of theoretical and empirical studies of peculiarities of interrelation between modern students’ social views on profession and the level and various meaningful characteristics of their self-actualization. The article shows that personal self-actualiza­tion in profession can be viewed from the point of view of theory of social views, which allows to take into consideration the socio-cultural context. The article reveals the interrelation between social views on profession and dynamics of students’ self-actualization.

Psychological Follow-Up of Processes of the First Year Students Adaptation to the Educational Environment of the University

The article presents data of theoretical and empirical investigation of the problem of socio-psychological organization of first year stu­dent’s adaptation to university educational environment. It shows that the development of personal adaptational system is ensured not only by the complex of its separate components (subsystems), but by their interaction as well. The article presents empirical research data. The sample included first year university students (n = 85); the following diagnostic tools were used: A. G. Maklakova and S. B.

Acmeological Approach to Studying Family

The article defines the subject of family acmeology and its differences from family psychology and sociology. It is shown that subject area of family acmeology includes mechanisms for achieving maximum per­fection of the family as an integral system, as well as family members that form the system. The system of categories of family acmeology has been singled out according to the principle of subject area dis­closure.

Visions of the Past, Present and Future in the System of Socio-Psychological Personal Adaptation

The article presents the data of theoretical-empirical analysis of the interrelation of time perspective and level of socio-psychological per­sonal adaptation. It also presents the results of empirical research, which has been conducted from the point of view of the comparative aspect of time visions of three categories of senior students (n = 110): pupils of secondary school, gymnasium and special correction school (type 8) from the city of Saratov. The article contains detailed charac­teristics of four levels of the respondents’ socio-psychological adap­tation.

Factors of Students’ Adaptation to University Educational Environment

The article presents theoretical analysis of modern state of the problem, regarding adaptation of students to the university environment. The article discusses manifestations and types of disadaptation, its psychological and educational risks, and analyzes adaptive strategies. The use of psychodiagnostic tools (T. D. Hero as a Cultural Signifier

The article presents theoretical analysis of the Hero’s role at personal, social, and cultural levels of analysis. The article examines psycho­logical theories and concepts, which cause problems in the interac­tion between «I» and «Other». It also shows the perspectiveness of studying Hero’s image as an ethical and axiological standard, indi­cator of cultural level of social development. The article presents data regarding theoretical and methodological analysis of the problem of psychologist’s professional training fundamentalization. The study uncovered reserves of psychologist’s professional training fundamentalization. The model of correlation between theory and method in psychology is the basis of communicative methodology conception. Instrumental apparatus of communicative methodology is proposed and described.
