Hero as a Cultural Signifier

The article presents theoretical analysis of the Hero’s role at personal, social, and cultural levels of analysis. The article examines psycho­logical theories and concepts, which cause problems in the interac­tion between «I» and «Other». It also shows the perspectiveness of studying Hero’s image as an ethical and axiological standard, indi­cator of cultural level of social development. Intraprofessional Differentiation of Subjects and Updating of Environmental Resources

The author of the article carries out an exploration for the relations of environment conditions as outsubject resources that influence the choice of the subjects of the professional sphere and the subsequent success of their implementation in the profession and in the family. The data of the article are presented by the samples of public servants (126 pers.) and managers of commercial companies (148 pers.) collected by the author’s methodology «Questionnaire “Lifestyle”».

The Dynamics and Personal Predictors of Preferred Coping Strategies of Cadets of Military High School

The purpose of this article is to analyse overcoming behaviour models in terms of the military socialization of cadet personality. The data show the dynamics of behaviour strategies throughout the entire period of training in military high school. It has been discovered that the third year cadets are exposed to use overcoming behaviour strategies against common crisis conditions, which is expressed in reducing the importance of active and prosocial strategies and strengthening of passive and aggressive ones.

Moral Self-Determination of Young People of Different Professions

The role of the moral qualities of the person in professional work was analyzed in the article. A comparative study of moral self-determination of the future specialists (students of the last courses) in advertising, psychology, economics and management was fulfilled (n = 145). The method «Personal moral self-determination» and the author’s method for evaluation of psychological indicators of advertisement effectiveness were used. The most positive moral position is typical for psychologists, and the most negative – for economists.

Moral Orientation and Subjective Well-Being of Young People from Different Ethnic Groups
