Structural Peculiarity of Discriminatory Attitudes of the Personality

The purpose of the study presented in the article is to investigate structural peculiarities of discriminatory attitudes empirically. The study was conducted on a sample (N=168), mean age 27,63 years, the sample was mostly composed of females (78,6%). In the course of study we used the following psycho-diagnostic toolset: a questionnaire that was specifically developed for the investigation, Yanoff-Bulman’s “Scale of Basic Beliefs” (M. A. Padun and A. V. Kotelnikova’s adaptation).

Forms of Economic Socialization of a Personality: Explanation of the Approach

of identifying the diversity of forms of economic socialization, and the nature of relationships between them. We explain the development perspective of the approach to the study of forms of economic socialization of an individual, as well as analyze the interrelation between such concepts as the “stage of economic socialization” and “form of economic socialization”. Discriminatory attitudes are an important regulator of individual and group behavior that is expressed towards representatives of various groups in the modern society. The importance of overcoming discriminatory attitudes for innovative development of the society has been confirmed. Strategies of Socio-Psychological Adaptation as Predictors of Subjective Well-Being of the Unemployed Person

The article presents the results of a theoretical study of parameters of socio-psychological adaptation as predictors of subjective well-being of the individual with different employment situations. It is shown that subjective well-being of a person is determined, in particular, by his/her desire for dominance in relationships, adequate integration of the individual in society, external control, comfortable emotional state, the desire to avoid solving problems and taking responsibility by escaping reality.

Hardiness as a Predictor of Self-Realization in Difficult Life Situations

The article presents the results of a study which conclusively prove a correlation between self-realization and the individual’s hardiness. It is shown that under certain conditions (in difficult life situations) hardiness as a property of the personality is a predictor of self-fulfillment of the subjects of activity. The article outlines modern trends in research of self-realization in the context of the system paradigm. It further identifies main individual and personal determinants of the manifestation of personal self-realization.

Personality Transformation in Cyberspace

It sets out details of the individual transformation phenomenon analysis in network space. Since the 1990s, there was a tendency on the network emergence of virtual personalities that have little to do with their creators in reality, marking the beginning of this complex process. Originating as a general source of information, the Internet originally had a tremendous educational potential, which is in a slightly modified form still exists today.

Adaptive Readiness of Secondary School Students

This article presents the results of theoretical and long-term empirical study of adaptive readiness of secondary school students. Students (N = 83) and class teachers (N = 3) participated in the longitudinal study.
