Regulatory and Worldview Factors of Various Forms of Social Activity of Young People
The aim of the research presented in this article is to study the regulative and ideological factors of different forms of social activity among students. The empirical study is carried out on a sample of students (N = 236), including high school students of general secondary schools (N = 118) and university students from Saratov and Saratov Oblast. We used a complex of psychodiagnostical tools to register various forms of social activity and degree of manifestation using a special questionnaire (by I. V. Arendachuk, E. E. Bocharova, A. I. Zagranichniy et al). Ideological beliefs were researched using “World assumptions scale” by R. Janoff-Bulman (adapted by M. A. Padun and A. V. Kotelnikova). In order to research the regulatory sphere the questionnaire “The style of self-regulation of behavior and activity” by V. I. Morosanova was used. Presumably there is a differentiation in correlation between regulatory and ideological factors of actualization of various forms of social activity of students. It is shown that leisure, Internet and Network and educational and developing forms of activities dominate in the structure of social activity among high school students, and socio-economic form of activity dominates among students. The tendency to differentiate regulatory and ideological factors of actualization of various forms of social activity is recorded. As a result, in the sample of high school students, characterized by the accentuated profile of self-regulation (the stable style in estimation of results), the regulatory factors prevail in actualization of educational and developing, Internet and Network, leisure, altruistic, radical and protest, protest, subcultural and socio-economical forms of activities. In the sample of students characterized by the autonomous style of planning and control, stability of ideological factors of actualization of civil, social and political, altruistic forms of activity and limitations of subcultural activities prevail. The applied aspect of the problem investigated can be realized in the development of programs of youth policy
