A Conscious and Weakly Conscious in the Social Representations of Young People of Conscience

Research focuses on studying social representations of students about conscience. The use of two complementary research methods of social representations reveals both conscious and rational opinions about the young people of conscience and poorly conscious mean­ings and associations connected with the phenomenon of conscience. The results showed that the core of representations of young people of conscience has a positively stained category as a conscious and the conscious in weak form.

Aged People in Mundane Consciousness of «Pragmatists’ Generation»: Emotional - Value Aspect of Responsibility

The article is dedicated to the problem of realizing responsibility for wellbeing of the aged people by the generation of 30-40 years old Russians. They are being called the «pragmatists’ generation» within social discourse and media quite often. The sources’ analysis has de­tected a number of problems being researched by science which deal with relationships between younger and older generations within Rus­sian society. Among them are devaluation of old age in youths’ minds, increasing sociocultural distance, «Fathers and Sons» conflict etc.

The Problem of the Crisis Mature Age

In this article will be described theoretical approaches of mature age crises. The results showed that standard age crises are essential planned stages of mature human development, stipulated continu­ity developmental processes, self-actualization and self-identity of the person. The results of the empiric study were shown. The research was conducted among men and women of mature age (n = 446, 35– 45 years). As the diagnostic method was used the method «Symptoms of planned crisis» by N. V. Sivrikova to identify crisis phenomenon.

Life-Purpose Orientations of Spouses from the Migrant Workers’ Families Under Conditions of Long-Term Separation

The article presents the results of the empirical research of life-pur­pose orientations, gained from the sample of work migrant and non-migrant families’ spouses (N = 329) selected with D. A. Leontyev’s method.

Psychological Well-Being of Civil Servants under Conditions of Midlife Crisis

Peculiarities of state officials’ mid-life crisis process are described. The questionnaire results of state officials are described (overall number is 40 people at the age of 30-50, 22 of them are female, 18 are male). Age groups are associated (30-40 years old (transitional) and 41-50 years old (recessionary)). The following methodology is used: author’s technique of associational conversation, technique ?Wartegg Drawing Test? by E. Wartegg, modified technique ?Sentence completion test? by J. M. Sachs, S. Levy, ?House – Tree – Person? drawing technique by J. Buck.

Modern Research Trends in the Sphere of Ethno-Psychology of Subjective Well-Being

The article presents generalized analysis data of the subjective wellbeing research factual material, which was carried out from the perspective of ethno-psychology and testifys to a variety of forms, factors, and determinants of subjective well-being and reflect ethno-cultural peculiarity of interaction between human being and the society under conditions of globalization. The article states the main tendencies in the emergence and development of ethno-psychology of subjective wellbeing.

Social and Psychological Aspects of Cross-Species Interaction between Humans and Pets

In the present study needs and personal characteristics of dog's owners and non-owners are compared. It was revealed that some needs and personal characteristics are significant predictors of attitude and behavior type with animals. In the pet owners personal sphere has been allocated the directivity to a particular type of communication with the pets, which can be described as a socio-positive and innovative. Separately, it should be emphasized that this type of communication is characterized by it's have not incorporates the component of compensation.

Social Aspects of Human-Pet Interaction with as a Coping Strategy

The article presents data, which testifies to the tendency of human perception of an animal as a social partner. Animals are perceived as family members by humans and get the states of significant others. The article gives information regarding the study of inter-species interaction between humans and pets. It is shown that all signals, which are transmitted between members of the inter-species group, can be classified based on two principles: incentive for action and forcing into action.

Model of Professional Destruction of Shift Workers in Arctic Conditions

The article presents the results of an empirical study carried out on a sample of 70 shift construction workers of natural gas pipelines, working in Tumen region (the length of the shift is 52 days), aged from 30 to 59 (mean age 34,9 ± 8,1) with application of the following diagnostic tools: a questionnaire called «Accentuation of character» (H. Identity and Satisfaction with Marriage in Married Families

The article analyzes the theoretical approaches to understanding problems of family identity. The author discovered the dependence of well-being in the marriage from which the identity (personal or family) exists in humans.
