The article presents the results of a theoretical analysis of sociopsychological adaptation of students in the conditions of mono- (institutions of general education) and poly- (institution of supplementary education) educational environments. It pays special attention to examining how successful social and psychological adaptation of adolescents is, depending on their involvement in the educational environment of an institution of supplementary education.

The paper considers the problem of socialization in the aspect of the reform of school education in Russia. The estimation is given of the national public education paradigm and its focus on the socialization of the individual student. It is pointed out that the limited activity of the modern school education only leads to difficultiesin the process of socialization of the child.

The analysis of the results of research of the features and conditions of socialization of children-orphans of students-teenagers in the family type children’s village is carried out. Author’s definitions of concepts «socialization», «successful socialization», «the result of socialization», «social suitability» and «personality isolation» are resulted. The contents of the level of psychological diagnosis socialization of orphaned children are described. The author’s program «Successful socialization of adolescent students» are described.
