“Gift” as a stigma: The role of self-stigmatization in the giftedness crisis and personal identity deformation in adolescents

The relevance of the study is due to the fact that adolescence is a sensitive period for the development of giftedness and the formation of a stable personal identity, a system of relationships with oneself and other people, which can be hindered by experiencing social stigmatization. In this context, identification of socio-psychological resources for maintaining subjective stability and proactive development of personality giftedness in the crisis conditions of the modern educational environment seems to be necessary.

Mentors’ pedagogical positions as factors of an educational environment that fosters personal development

The relevance of the study is determined by two factors. On the one hand, the study is relevant due to the priorities of modern educational policy, which provides for the development of mentoring at all stages of the educational process and, above all, in the fi eld of personal development. On the other hand, the lack of theoretical and methodological background to the issue of mentoring in psychology and pedagogy makes it topical.
