Effectiveness of the Individualization of the Psychological Training of the Athletes

The paper presents the results of an experimental study aimed at identifying how viable using an individualized approach in psychological training of rowers is. The paper lists information that defines rowers’ sports-oriented qualities, which affect sportsmen’s overall and specialized readiness to compete. It is these qualities that were taken into account when recommendations for individualized selection of tasks of psychological training were formulated and individualized tools for addressing these tasks were selected.

Personal Characteristics as Predictors of Subjective Well-Being of a Person with Diverse Employment Status

The paper shows the results of an empirical study of personal characteristics as predictors of subjective well-being of a person with diverse employment status carried out on a sample of temporarily unemployed people registered at the Engels employment center and unemployed (N=362, 19–63 years old, using following diagnostic tools: the scale of psychological well-being (K. Satisfaction with Different Life Aspects as an Indicator of Social and Psychological Adaptation Success of Fellow Countrymen in Russia

de monstrates the complexity and uncertainty of the studied phenomenon of life satisfaction and phenomenon’s conditionality. The paper describes a variety of determinants of life satisfaction. It was established that the degree of aspirations and achievements, as well as the existence of achievement dynamics (positive or negative) in the primary life spheres before and after migration, has the prime importance among many factors affecting the level of life satisfaction among migrants.

Soteriological Technique of Assessing the Heads Leadership Qualities Level

In this article the author’s diagnostics technique of the development level of leadership qualities of the head is presented. It belongs to the class of order methods created for the assessment of various aspects of organizational culture in the mode of dialogue of the respondent and psychologist. This technique called soteriological because it is focused on the work with the identity level of the leader of the organization («internal» order of organizational culture).

Historico-Methodological and Acmeological Foundations of a Specialist’s Career Development

The paper presents the findings of a theoretical study aimed at a historico-methodological and achmeological analysis of the formation of the concept of a specialist’s career in his/her professional work, at determining historical stages and scientific approaches of the development of the process of a specialist’s career growth and acmeological development.

Correlation between Social Competence and Adaptive Capabilities of Students of Different Specialities

The paper presents the findings of a theoretical analysis of the correlation between a person’s adaptation and his/her social competence. It presents the results of an empirical study of the correlation between social competence and adaptive potential that was conducted on a sample of students (N = 80, aged 18–19) using the following diagnostic tools: the «Communicative social competence instrument» (CSC) (N. P. Fetiskin, V. V. Kozlov, T. M. Manuilov) and the «Social and psychological adaptation questionnaire» (K. Rogers and R. Diamond).

Adaptive Readiness of Secondary School Students

This article presents the results of theoretical and long-term empirical study of adaptive readiness of secondary school students. Students (N = 83) and class teachers (N = 3) participated in the longitudinal study. Individual Characteristics of Psychological Safety of Primary-School Students during School Adaptation

The paper present the results of an experimental study of how individual characteristics of psychological safety are manifested in firstgraders depending on how well they are adapted to school. The study involved 238 children. It applied a number of techniques aimed at examining indicators of psychological safety and the level of school adaptation in first-graders.

Leadership and Viability of Mongolian Students Studying in Russia

The article presents the results of empirical study of peculiarities of leadership and viability expression of Mongolian students. The study involved 40 respondents aged 18 to 25 years, enrolled in different faculties of Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. The following instruments were used in the research: «Hardiness Survey» by S. Maddi (adapted by D. A. Leontiev), «Communicative and organizing skills» (COS) by V. V. Sinyavskiy and V. A. Vedoroshin, and «Leadership skills diagnostic test» by E. I. Zharikov and E. L. Krushelnitskiy.
