Motivation of protest and socio-political activity of an individual and its potential in the system of life-purpose orientations

The relevance of the study is conditioned by the need for formation of theoretical and practical knowledge and technologies that allow to determine the structure of motivation of socio-political and protest activity. The purpose of the study is to investigate motivation of protest and socio-political activity of an individual and its potential within the system of life-purpose orientations. Presumably, the motivational structure of socio-political and protest activity reveals similarities in the manifestation of qualitative and quantitative characteristics.

Ethical and psychological factors of social activity of modern young people

The purpose of the study presented in the article is an empirical study of the relationship between characteristics of moral selfdetermination and various forms of social activity of young people. The study involves students (N = 236): high school students (n = 118) and university students (n = 118) of Saratov and Saratov Oblast (Russia) aged from 17 to 19 years. Activity Characteristics of Social Activity in Young People Belonging to Different Age Groups

The relevance of the study is associated with insufficient information regarding forms of social activity of an individual taken in conjunction with characteristics of their respective activities and features of manifestation of this relationship in young people belonging to different age groups. Higher School Students’ Notion About Social Activity

The relevance of the study is determined by the identification of the specifics of students’ notion about social activity. The goal of the research is to study the structure of the notion of the social activity phenomenon among the young people on a student sample (N = 100, 65% are female, 58% are up to 25 years old). Presumably, the notion in the context under consideration has an unstable structure.

The urgency of the study is related to the insufficient state of investigations of the value-related and meaningful conditioning of the forms of social activity of an individual. Problems and Perspectives of the Study of Young People’s Social Activity

The purpose of the study presented in the article is to give a theoretical review of articles devoted to the problem of social activity and its types. The urgency of the study of social activity is conditioned by the need to study psychological mechanisms of formation, development and forms of its manifestation in young people under the changing conditions of the social environment. The article presents the main definitions of the notion of social activity from the interdisciplinary perspective.

Interdependence of Harmoniousity of Valuable Orientations and Social Maturity

The paper presents the results of a correlation study, which purpose is to study the relationship between the harmony of value orientations and social maturity. As a hypothesis, it was suggested that the harmony of value orientations is closely related to various aspects of social maturity (social status, economic status, personal maturity). The empirical basis of the study consisted of 357 people (men and women aged 18–30 years, 178 women and 169 men).
