Theoretical approaches to the study of the subjective well-being phenomenon

The necessity to “reconcile” various research positions regarding the study of subjective well-being phenomenon on the basis of an integrated approach makes the study of the theoretical approaches to the phenomenon relevant. Despite the abundance of modern scientifi c publications in the fi eld of psychology devoted to the study of well-being, there is a lack of a unifi ed understanding of the nature of this phenomenon. Scientists use a lot of concepts that are similar in content, but are not strictly diff erentiated.

Terra incognita of vitality problem: Open issues. Part 2

The relevance of studying resilience is among other things conditioned by faster evolution of social objects, increase in general uncertainty, lack of stability, complexity and ambiguity of the dynamics of their state, which, in their turn, lead to an increase in the requirements for adaptation mechanisms of an individual and social groups (families, collectives, sports teams, managerial or project teams); the importance of an individual’s socio-psychological and psychological resources is increasing.

Terra incognita of vitality problem: Open issues. Part 1

The increase of uncertainty, instability, complexity, ambiguity of the dynamics of the condition of social subjects are among the issues that make vitality problem topical. This results in higher standards for adaptation mechanisms of an individual and social groups (families, work groups, sports, management, project teams) and greater importance of socio-psychological and psychological resources of a person.

Professional Life: Synergetic Approach. Part 2

This article continues the series of works (2017–2019) on the problem of career (professional life). The phenomenon of “professional life” in the methodology of the synergetic approach is considered as an open, unstable system. The subject of research is age dynamics of professionalism and its components (creativity, operating style, leadership style) in subjects at the age range of 25–55.

Professional Life: Synergetic Approach. Part 1

The article continues the series of works on the problem of career (professional life). We study the phenomenon of “professional life”, its historical evolution, difficulties of its full and adequate scientific explication, and the techniques of its study. We consider a number of aspects of the problem within the boundaries of the means and capabilities of the synergistic approach. The subject of our research is career (professional life, in particular) as a social, socio-psychological and psychological (subjective, personal) phenomenon.

Professional Career: Linear-Stadial and Stadial-Procedural Approaches

The aim of the research presented in the article: historical and theoretical analysis of the scientific concepts of human development periodization (as a subject of activity, as a personality). The paper describes the phenomenon of “professional career”, the complexity of its full and adequate scientific explication and analyses the well-known concepts of human development periodization (S. Freud, P. P. Blonsky, L. S. Vygotsky, R. Kegan, J. Piaget, C. Buhler, E. Erikson) and the concepts of human development periodization as a subject of labour (D. Super, E. A.

Professional Career: Research, Results, Possible Prospects

The phenomenon of “professional career”, the complexity of its full and adequate scientific explication is considered. One of the ways to promote a constructive study of a career is an appeal to a set of complementary methodological approaches. The experience of the development of an integrative approach, including combinations of system-genetic, ecological (ecopsychological) and system triads approach, is proposed. It is shown that each of the methodological approaches has its limitations and possibilities.
