Abstract:

The phenomenon of “professional career”, the complexity of its full and adequate scientific explication is considered. One of the ways to promote a constructive study of a career is an appeal to a set of complementary methodological approaches. The experience of the development of an integrative approach, including combinations of system-genetic, ecological (ecopsychological) and system triads approach, is proposed. It is shown that each of the methodological approaches has its limitations and possibilities. In the context of the system-genetic approach, the tasks of a level analysis of the phenomenon and its genesis are successfully solved; in line with the ecopsychological – analysis of the main types of interaction in the “man - environment (environment)” system; in the “system triads” approach, the possibility of optimizing the number of key “measurements” of fragments of reality to be studied is postulated sufficient to identify and study their system properties. It is argued that the three methodological approaches under consideration complement each other in solving specific scientific and practical problems (for example, analyzing hierarchical relations in the subject-environment systems, detailing the interaction mechanisms in the subject-subject systems, identifying key dominants of the phenomenon, etc.). Prospects for the study of the phenomenon of “professional career” are seen as the further development and involvement of the possibilities of the procedural approach (procedural-genetic).
