From Experience of Preparing Teachers to Work with Migrant Children in the United States

Abstract: 

The article is devoted to analysis of the experience of preparation of teachers to work with children of migrant workers established in the educational space of the USA, the author reveals the main characteristics of the content, technology, value orientations of future teachers. Critical reflection on the experience of the United States on the implementation of the ideas of multicultural education leads to the possibility of using Russian scientists and practices accumulated in the USA positive theoretical and practical experience on the integration of multicultural education in the educational process and further reforming the national system of education based on the multicultural principle. The author gives examples of courses of professional and psychological-pedagogical cycles of the universities in the USA, which can enrich the multicultural context of the Russia state pedagogical education.
