The relevance of the study is due to the necessity to solve the problem of shortage and retention of teaching staff in educational organizations. Currently, schools of young teachers, problem seminars, advanced training programs, individual educational routes, and mentoring are used to overcome professional and personal diffi culties of starter teachers. Mentoring is the most promising form of support for young teachers at their workplace. However, the mentoring potential of pedagogical universities is not fully utilized.

There is the description of features of development of psychology and becoming of scientist Ivan Vladimirovich Strakhov during 20th years and next years XX century in this article. I.V. Strakhov’s vigorous activity as organizer of a science has begun and was to the full showed in Saratov. With good reason it is possible to consider the scientist the founder of the Saratov psychological school. 

The article informs about the upcoming All-Russian scientifi c and practical conference with International participation “Special Education and Socio-Cultural Integration – 2025: Strategies for Development and Transformation”. The conference will be held at Saratov State University on November 21–22, 2025. This event continues the tradition of annual scientifi c and practical conferences dedicated to the challenges of psychological, pedagogical and defectological education.

The relevance of the research is determined by the formulation of the problem connected with understanding the teacher’s role in the modern educational paradigm. Purpose: to perform the analytical review of the problem fi eld of the scientifi c and methodological forum “The Teacher in the Educational Paradigm: Personal Potential and Social Challenges”, which was held on April 16–17, 2025 in Saratov State University.

The paper is dedicated to the anniversary of the famous philologist, literary scholar, methodologist, high school teacher, head of the Department of Speech Therapy and Psycholinguistics of Saratov State University, Vladimir Petrovich Kryuchkov. The relevance of the research is due to the necessity to provide a comprehensive review of the researcher’s scientifi c achievements and works in the fi eld of literary studies, pedagogy, speech therapy, and to understand their role in shaping the content and scientifi c foundations of professional training methods.

The relevance of the study determines the necessity to promote the search for tools that increase the eff ectiveness of psychological support and adaptation of foreign students in Russian universities. It became the main idea of the interregional round table discussion “Psychological Support of Foreign Students in Russian Universities” (Penza State University, April 25, 2024). Purpose: an analytical review of the reports of the participants of the interregional round table discussion “Psychological Support of Foreign Students in Russian Universities”.

The paper is dedicated to the anniversary of Rail Munirovich Shamionov, one of the most prominent representatives of the Saratov psychological school, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, editor–in-chief of the journal “Izvestiya of Saratov University.
