Pedagogical Tolerance as an Integrative Trait of Specialist’s Personality

Abstract: 

The article presents the results of empirical study of personal qualities, which determine pedagogical tolerance of future educators (N=193). Polling methods (V. V. Boyko’s “Method of general communicative tolerance”; V. V. Boyko’s “Method for determining conflict-resistance level”; AV. Karpov and V. V. Ponomaryov’s diagnostics of reflection; S. Badner’s “Method for determination of tolerance to uncertainty”; T. Dembo and S. Ya. Rubinstein’s “Method for studying self-assessment and aspiration level”; “Life satisfaction index”; questionnaire for defining nervous and psychological stability (by Kirov Military Medical Academy); Julian B. Rotter’s “Method for diagnostics of subjective control level”; “Method for studying personal social creativity” and S. Mednik’ s “Method for diagnostics of verbal creativity”) that were used in the course of the study allowed to single out priority directions in the process of forming pedagogical tolerance in students in the course of their professional training.
