The article presents the author’s concept regarding complex formation of sociocultural phenomenon «Health» in pupils in the course of educational process. It proposes a fundamentally new base of categories and concepts («health», «healthy lifestyle», «internal picture of health and «vitality»). The study shows the relationship between this base of categories, concepts, and other pedagogical concepts. An integrative pedagogical model of formation of social and cultural phenomenon «health» in ontogeny is disclosed. The proposed model can serve as a methodological foundation for modern teachers’ training in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Professional Education for the degree program 050400 «Psychological and pedagogical education». According to the standard one of the objectives of teachers’ activity has to be the design and implementation of the program of healthy and safe lifestyle development among students (in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of primary general and basic general education).
