Time perspective of forced migrants with diff erent types of socio-psychological adaptation

The study is relevant due to the necessity to increase the effi ciency of socio-psychological adaptation in connection with the growing number of migrants from other countries. The aim of the study is to determine the features of the time perspective in the course of sociopsychological adaptation of forced migrants. The article hypothesizes that time perspective of forced migrants will vary depending on the type of socio-psychological adaptation and on diff erent stages of adulthood.

The article meaningfully analyses the concepts of the personal potential and the socio-psychological adaptation in correlation with the psychological readiness of the person to take the risk in adolescence. Strategies of Socio-Psychological Adaptation as Predictors of Subjective Well-Being of the Unemployed Person

The article presents the results of a theoretical study of parameters of socio-psychological adaptation as predictors of subjective well-being of the individual with different employment situations. It is shown that subjective well-being of a person is determined, in particular, by his/her desire for dominance in relationships, adequate integration of the individual in society, external control, comfortable emotional state, the desire to avoid solving problems and taking responsibility by escaping reality.

Correlation between Social Competence and Adaptive Capabilities of Students of Different Specialities

The paper presents the findings of a theoretical analysis of the correlation between a person’s adaptation and his/her social competence. It presents the results of an empirical study of the correlation between social competence and adaptive potential that was conducted on a sample of students (N = 80, aged 18–19) using the following diagnostic tools: the «Communicative social competence instrument» (CSC) (N. P. Fetiskin, V. V. Kozlov, T. M. Manuilov) and the «Social and psychological adaptation questionnaire» (K. Rogers and R. Diamond).
