Social conception of friendship is considered in the article. Contrastive analysis of ideas of friendship in different age groups is given. The causes of age differences in friendly relations are analyzed.

Study of Identity in the Context of the Special Personality Psychology

Intrapersonal Proneness to Conflict as a Disposition in Foreign and Russian Psychology

The article views intrapersonal proneness to conflict as a personal disposition. We have made an attempt to interpret proneness to conflict from the point of view of traits theory. The article overviews opinions of Russian psychologists that deal with proneness to conflict from the perspective of consciousness problem. Proneness to conflict is viewed through the idea of a personality that possesses an in-born set of dispositions, which allow it to react in a steady and certain way in different situations.

Socio-political and civil activity of young people: Between massification and individualization

The purpose of the study presented in the article is a theoretical analysis of socio-political and civic activity of young people in the context of processes of individualization and massification as contradictory but interdependent trends in the development of modern society. The relevance of the study is supported by the need for scientific understanding of conditions under which the formation of social and political subjectivity of young people and their choice of these types of activity take place.

The Ratio of Self-Esteem, Aspiration Level and Value Orientations of an Individual

From the perspective of the subject-activity theory by S.L. Rubinstein and reflexive activity approach developed by E.I. Kuzmina, which became the methodological basis of our experimental study of self-esteem, aspiration level and value orientations, we clarified the psychological content and substantiated the dialectical unity of these central personality phenomena, showed the heuristic possibilities of their comprehensive research for a deeper understanding of the development of an individual.
