The article describes theoretical explanation of the empirical study of a teenager transiting to adulthood. The author puts emphasis on the problem of growing personality from childhood to adulthood during ontogenesis with such determinants of the integral development as the development of adulthood, maturity and understanding of the problems of self-realization and self-expression in the future.

The article presents the results of an empirical study of personality development in young adulthood. Chronological boundaries and major tasks of personality development in the period of early adulthood are examined. The theoretical arguments and empirical evidence of allocation of two aspects of human maturity: social and personal maturity are offered. Criteria for determining the levels of social and personal development of the individual are shown. The use of psychodiagnostic tools (techniques ?Motivational induction? by J. Nyutten and ?Test of self-actualization?

The study presents innovative interpretation of human socialization as a system of processes of social adaptation, autonomization and support of personal development. It gives theoretical substantiation of the concept of triune socialization, uncovers its opportunities for solving the problem of continuity of education and upbringing, social and personal development. According to the concept of triune socialization, support is viewed as a purposeful process; unlike upbringing, this process is entirely built upon educatee’s subjectness.

In this paper was made an attempt of comparative analysis of the technocratic, humanistic and anthropological educational models. Pedagogical work presented as an anthropological practice, what confirms the necessity of familiarizing children to the traditional spiritual culture.

The article summarizes the results of a pilot empirical study aimed at scientific, practical and acmeological analysis of the development and implementation of a professional standard “Head of a general education organization”, which is a criterion for a modern school principal to meet the demands of society and current requirements, an indicator of his/her managerial and personal competence.
