Model of Forming University Students` Professional-Ethical Culture

Abstract: 

The aim of the research is forming university students` professionalethical culture. The process of forming university students` professionalethical culture will be more efficient if professional-ethical culture is considered as measure and method of comprehension and implementation of general and professional knowledge, abilities, skills, norms and values; as a special type of quasi professional activity based on sense creating motives directed towards implementation of value acts which generate moral feelings; if within the science-based model of forming professional-ethical culture of university students - future economists during foreign language learning the following conditions are met: the creation of communicative environment during foreign language classes, the creation of motivation to acquire professional-ethical culture, the studying of humanistic aspect of the professional sphere, the development and implementation of the special course “Professional ethics in business and economics”, the use of personal-centered methods; if the process and results of forming professional-ethical culture levels are diagnosed and measured by special diagnostic tools. The author represents the structural-functional or dynamic model of forming university students` professional-ethical culture which includes the theoretical-methodological, active-functional and resultant-evaluative blocks. The aim of modelling is gradual forming university students` professional-ethical culture, all its components: cognitive, axiological, sensual-emotional, activity ones. The theoretical-methodological block includes the aim, objectives, theoretical-methodological approaches, principles and conditions of forming university students` professionalethical culture. The active functional block has in its stuff the functions of professional-ethical culture, stages of its forming, substantive content, methods and forms of the educational process. The resultant-evaluative block is connected with the definition of the criteria of formation of university students` professional-ethical culture and its indicators on different stages of the formation.
