Developing Professional Cross-Cultural Competence of University Students
The article presents theoretical analysis of various approaches to defining the criteria of professional intercultural competence formation. It is shown that among these criteria it is logical to single out motivational, cognitive-operational, activity-related, and reflexive criteria. The article describes implementation levels for the technology of forming professional intercultural competence in students (preparatory level, level of intercultural interaction, reflexive level), which include joint activity of students and teachers. It is pointed out that at every stage of professional intercultural competence formation it is necessary to use stage-specific means, methods, and forms of pedagogical work, which should not overlap.
