Formation of the Need for Professional Self-Improvement of Future Teachers of Technology
The article presents data on theoretical analysis of the problem of professional self-improvement. The necessity of self-improvement’s formation is conditioned by intensive modernization of the Russian educational system, which taking place alongside with dramatic social and economic processes in the country and world-wide; it is also conditioned by goal-oriented development of student’s personality. The article reveals understanding of the need for professional selfimprovement of a future teacher, as a rather complex phenomenon, which is based on a complex of incentives and conditions, which determine and regulate the process of its formation. Formation of the need for professional self-improvement as one of the major needs within the system of needs of a future teacher of technology is being steadily implemented together with the development of basic professional needs during various types of trainings: personal, general cultural, psychological, communicative, methodological technological managerial, etc., which allows to increase these teachers’ competitiveness on the labour market and widen the horizons for their employment.
