The preventive measures of the psychical health is considered from the position of the adaptativ possibilities of the personality and of the consequences of the impact on it by the stress, in particular, on the early stages of the forming of the syndrome of the emotional bournout. A theoretical review of different aspects of the problem is given.

The article presents the results of studying social expectations of a personality. It emphasizes the significance and shows the role of social expectations as one of the major understudied psychological phenomena. The influence of this phenomenon can be traced at all stages of socialization and development of a personality in the ontogenic and professional aspects. The study reveals peculiarities of children’s and adults’ expectations.

The research provides the data of theoretical and methodological analysis of the essence of social and psychological maturity of personality from the point of view of socialization/individualization processes and the process of interpersonal interaction. Social-psychological maturity of personality has been regarded as a psychological construct appearing in the process of integration of social and individual components of maturity, such as subjectness, meaning and cognitive formation of personality.
