Civil Identity and Formation of Civilization

In article it is shown, that one of the major resources of formation of civilization is civil identity — an element of consciousness of the person. The analysis of dynamics of expressiveness civil “self” under influence of social and economic conditions is carried out. Results comparative the subjective senses put in concept “civil identity” are considered by representatives of the various countries.

PSYCHOLOGICAL RISKS OF THE INGROUP INTERACTIONS

The paper presents the results of the analysis of psychological risks of the ingroup interactions. Using interpretative possibilities of the concept “Other”, the typology of the ingroup Other is offered and the possible risks arising at level daily experts are described.

Influence of Ethnic Identity Expressiveness on the Choice of Acculturation Attitude by Migrants

The article presents study the influence of the salience of ethnic identity on choice migrant's acculturation attitude according to the theory of social identity by H. Tajfel and J. C. Turner and the theory of cognitive dissonance by L. Festinger. We suppose that migrants experienced uncomfortable in new cultural environment due to the inconsistency of their own cultural values and norms with norms and values of the host society. In order to regain their cognitive structure in consistency, migrants need to choice their acculturation attitude.

Collective Memory and Instances of Temporality

The goal of the research presented in the article is theoretical reflection of collective memory characteristics and its projections on different temporal modes – the past, the present and the future. The article presents the results of the theoretical reflection of collective memory as a sociocultural and socio-psychological phenomenon of being of a human and humankind, as well as its projections on different temporal modes – the past, the present and the future.
