The problem of professional and personal self-determination is considered on the basis of the comparative analysis of representations about a vital floor of the person. The article considers the research data of features of vital plans, a degree of their realness and depth in two groups differing are cited by a level of completeness of a picture of self-determination.

In the article the psychological and pedagogical aspects of the goal-directed development of the motivational sphere of students are revealed. The characteristic of the conceptual-terminological apparatus of problem is given. The role of the individual styles of activity in the formation of adequate training motivation and professional self-determination is revealed, is determined specific character of the training motivation of students, who are trained in the specialty “Pedagogy and psychology”. 

The article considers the problem of students adaptation to the educational environment of university in terms of ecopsychological approach.

Substantially analyzed the social and psychological risks of professional self-determination of senior pupils. The results of empirical research carried out on a sample of students of classes 9 and 11 secondary school № 41, Saratov (N = 65). The methods used: questionnaire «Orientation» (V. E. Sigacheva, M. N. Rossohach); method for determination of the main motives of choice of profession (E. M. Pavlyutenkova); questionnaire «The motives of choice of profession» (R. V. Ovcharova); questionnaire «Types imposed on the choice of profession» (A. A. Kibireva).

The relevance of the study is determined by the need of scientificallybased programs of psychological and pedagogical support for students of general education schools under the conditions of subject oriented pre-training. The purpose of the study is to identify the peculiarities of students’ professional self-determination at the stage of completion the basic general education and preparation for subject oriented training.
