Competent Approach and Problem s of its Realization

In the article the modern level of theoretical development of the competence approach in Russian pedagogic is analyzed; possible ways of its practical embodiment are discussed.

Interactive Training in Higher Education

The necessity of using interactive learning in the higher education system is determined. The content of the concepts “interactive learning”, “interactive forms and teaching methods” has been analyzed. The features of the use of interactive forms and teaching methods in the educational process of the university are described. The hypothesis of the research was the assumption that through the use of interactive learning a higher level of development of logical thinking is achieved.

Developing Soft Skills through Group Work within the Framework of Teaching English at University

The article presents the results of the theoretical analysis of the conditions of soft skills development connected with the overcoming of the contradictions of the traditional system of education, which involves individual character of learning and dominance of frontal teaching, which impede the development of communicative competences. Top requested soft skills contributing to the professional success of the university graduate are reported. Amongst the most needed social competences there are such skills as communication, collaboration and creative thinking.

Integration of Culturological and Competent Approach in the Educational Processes of Future Geography Teachers

This article studies the system of special professional competences of future geography teachers as a result of integration of culturological and competent approaches during the process of education. The technology of contextual education is recommended to implement integration of the given approaches during educational processes.
