Gender Approach in Education: View at the Problem

The article gives the definitions to the concepts “gender”, “gender approach” from the points of view of different science fields representatives: philosophy, psychology, pedagogics. The importance of gender approach realization for the modern educational system is revealed making it possible to think of the necessity of gender approach realization as an integral part of educational process organization. 

Pedagogical Personnel’s Gender Edication

The article says about importance of developing gender approaches in education that can allow us to take into account abilities, possibilities and educational demands of female and male representatives. The role of a modern educational institution in creating gender self awareness of subjects of education is examined. Different forms of gender education of pedagogical trained specialists: teachers of higher educational Institutions, teachers at schools and psychologists and students of teachers’ training colleges are represented.

Valued Risks and Youth’s Conception of the Parenthood

The article reflects the topical issues of global transformation of values, associated with demographic processes and resource potential of the state. Achievement of utmost levels and increase in depopulation, inadequate reflection of the gender factor in population policy determines the increase of the crisis and the risks of the contemporary society.

Gender Pecularities of Olfactory Self-Presentation of a Personality in Social Interaction

The article discusses the role of natural and artificial smells in regulation of social interaction. It is pointed out that olfactory self-representation is not only cultural, but socio-psychological phenomenon as well. The article presents results of the empirical study of gender socio-psychological characteristics of olfactory self-presentation of a personality that has been carried out on a sample of 170 persons (90 men and 80 women aged 18–55 years old).
