The research on helping behaviour in diffi cult situations is of relevance due to the increase in the diffi culty of situations of providing assistance. Another factor that makes the problem relevant is the decrease in the individual’s social activity aimed at helping others. The purpose of the study is to identify the correlation between the degree of orientations in diffi cult situations of providing assistance and the type of the personality’s attitude towards helping behaviour.

The necessity to identify motivational factors of the coach’s activity components and of the dominant orientation of this activity makes the study relevant.

The study of parental burnout of fathers as well as mothers is relevant, since it may be the source of family trouble in general.

The ambiguity and inconsistency of the data on the connection between emigration attitudes and metavalues spurs the research on the relation between emigration attitudes and basic values.

The purpose of the study presented in the article is to investigate sociopsychological characteristics of modern young people’s protest activity within the context of socio-political activity. The relevance of the study can be explained by the need to create practice-oriented recommendations aimed at developing young people’s socio-political activity, having taken into account social requirements and using theoretical data.

The article presents pilot empirical research data regarding the role of family in professional self-determination of psychology stu­dents. The study was carried out on a sample of students (n = 28, 19–21 years old) with application of psychological and diagnostic toolset: I. L. Solomin’ «Orientation» questionnaire; S. A. Pakulina and S. M. Ketko’s questionnaire called «Motivation of students’ learning»; questionnaire with retrospective analysis of motives for choosing fu­ture profession.

The article presents theoretical analysis of the problem of the inter­relation of notions «risk», «trust», and «risk motivation». It presents the perspective of social and psychological study of subculture repre­sentatives’ peculiarities; subculture group «emo» is taken as an exam­ple. Utilization of psychological and diagnostic tools («Express-scale of trust» M. Rosenberg, original questionnaire for studying expression of risk motivation) on a sample of teenagers, who belong to some subculture, allowed todetermine, that the level of trust in this group is very low.

The article presents the results of theoretical and empirical studies of peculiarities of interrelation between modern students’ social views on profession and the level and various meaningful characteristics of their self-actualization. The article shows that personal self-actualiza­tion in profession can be viewed from the point of view of theory of social views, which allows to take into consideration the socio-cultural context. The article reveals the interrelation between social views on profession and dynamics of students’ self-actualization.

The article presents data of theoretical and empirical investigation of the problem of socio-psychological organization of first year stu­dent’s adaptation to university educational environment. It shows that the development of personal adaptational system is ensured not only by the complex of its separate components (subsystems), but by their interaction as well.
