The Problem of the Crisis Mature Age

In this article will be described theoretical approaches of mature age crises. The results showed that standard age crises are essential planned stages of mature human development, stipulated continu­ity developmental processes, self-actualization and self-identity of the person. The results of the empiric study were shown. The research was conducted among men and women of mature age (n = 446, 35– 45 years). As the diagnostic method was used the method «Symptoms of planned crisis» by N. V. Sivrikova to identify crisis phenomenon.

Social Age Norms Detection by Means of Qualitative Data Analysis

The article presents the results of social age norms study by means of qualitative data analysis. The authors suggest definition and the list of basic functions of social norms. Sample group of empirical research were represented by three age groups (7 people in each, total - 21 people.): early adulthood (20-40 years), middle adulthood (40-60 years), 37and late adulthood (60 years and older). The method of investigation is a semistructured interview.

The Phenomenon of “Resources”: Topos and Chronos in the Actualization of Environmental Conditions as Resources

The aim of the research is to study the relationship between the measure of social success of middle-aged people and the conditions of the social environment (spatial characteristics) and the temporal characteristics of their actualization (usage, creation, acquisition) as resources. Hypothesis: the conditions of the social environment, actualized as resources at different time stages of the social formation of the subject, have different significance for representatives of different social groups.
