The theoretical analysis of a problem of professional growth of the preschool teacher is submitted. Professional growth of the teacher is considered by the author as a necessary condition ensuring quality of preschool education. Professional growth is understood as continuous process of acquisition of professional skill, increase of level of competence of pedagogical activity. The main conditions of professional growth of heads and teachers of the preschool educational organizations are considered.
