«I» as «Other» on the World Wide Web: from «I»-Representation to «I»-Identification

The article presents results of the empirical study aimed at investigation of I-representations of active social network users on the World Wide Web and those who use the Internet as the information resource only.

Personality Transformation in Cyberspace

It sets out details of the individual transformation phenomenon analysis in network space. Since the 1990s, there was a tendency on the network emergence of virtual personalities that have little to do with their creators in reality, marking the beginning of this complex process. Originating as a general source of information, the Internet originally had a tremendous educational potential, which is in a slightly modified form still exists today.
