Economic Resocialization of an Individual and a Group: the Concept and Main Research Directions
The aim of the presented in the article theoretical analysis is to lay emphasis on research directions of certain areas of economic psychology that are of interest from the viewpoint of describing different forms of economic resocialization. The article deals with the issue of the layered structure of economic resocialization and emphasizes its two forms (subforms) depending on the evaluation level (macro or microsocial). Article presents research directions in economic psychology, which are of interest for the development of the problematic area of economic resocialization. Among them, are: dynamics of notion of poverty and wealth; changing attitudes toward money; the dynamics of emotional sufferings and value orientations in the context of socio-economic and other changes in society, as well as in situations of changes in the daily activities of a particular person. We described functions of economic representations, corporate feelings, value orientations as phenomena of economic perception in the process of economic resocialization of an individual and a group. Possibilities of different methodological approaches to the study of economic resocialization are demonstrated in the article. Taken together, the analysis showed that the dynamics of the phenomena of economic perception of individuals and social groups during expansion and recession of a business cycle, situations of society development generated by geopolitics are being studied preferably. Contributions that reveal the particularity of economic resocialization in situations of changing human living conditions (job loss or change of employment, status change, etc.) are not represented enough. Promising direction of economic resocialization is the study of symbolic coping of representatives of large social groups in the situation of job loss.
