Time perspective of forced migrants with diff erent types of socio-psychological adaptation

The study is relevant due to the necessity to increase the effi ciency of socio-psychological adaptation in connection with the growing number of migrants from other countries. The aim of the study is to determine the features of the time perspective in the course of sociopsychological adaptation of forced migrants. The article hypothesizes that time perspective of forced migrants will vary depending on the type of socio-psychological adaptation and on diff erent stages of adulthood.

Временная перспектива вынужденных переселенцев с разными типами социально-психологической адаптации

Актуальность исследования обусловлена необходимостью повышения эффективности процесса социально-психологической адаптации в связи с увеличением миграции иностранных граждан. Цель: определить особенности временной перспективы в ходе социально-психологической адаптации вынужденных переселенцев. Предположительно, временная перспектива вынужденных переселенцев будет различаться в зависимости от типа социально-психологической адаптации, а также на разных этапах взрослого возраста.

Visions of the Past, Present and Future in the System of Socio-Psychological Personal Adaptation

The article presents the data of theoretical-empirical analysis of the interrelation of time perspective and level of socio-psychological per­sonal adaptation. It also presents the results of empirical research, which has been conducted from the point of view of the comparative aspect of time visions of three categories of senior students (n = 110): pupils of secondary school, gymnasium and special correction school (type 8) from the city of Saratov. The article contains detailed charac­teristics of four levels of the respondents’ socio-psychological adap­tation.

Time of Danger and Safety in Students’ Subjective Experience

The paper aims to identify the characteristics of how the time of danger and safety is represented in university students’ experience. This is achieved by using a technique developed by the authors on a sample of 130 students majoring in pedagogical sciences, aged 18–20 years. The study established that identifying the time of safety is based on the students’ subjective experience, while identifying the time of danger may draw on someone else’s emotionally strong experience.

Temporal Perspective in Students with Different Levels of Adaptational Readiness

The article presents theoretical analysis data regarding the problem of temporal perspective in correlation to adaptational readiness of a student’s personality. Time perspective reflects future goals, personality values, as well as the level of personality’s subjectness. Susceptibility of personal time perspective parameters to the impact of social situation in life of a concrete subject dramatically increases during the periods of social and economic crises, as well as during the most significant life contexts of a personality.

Time Prospective of Senior High School Students with Different Levels of Subjective Control

The paper presents the results of theoretical and empirical research of time perspective among senior high school students depending on the subjective control localization. The study was conducted on the samples of senior high school students from general schools of the city of Saratov with «extreme» level of subjective control (n=70). Time Perspective and Life Values of Senior Pupils in Urban and Rural Schools

The article presents the results of empirical study of time perspective peculiarities, conducted in a comparative aspect on the sample of senior pupils from urban and rural schools (N = 140). The Perception of Psychological Time by Senior Pupils of Secondary Schools of Different Types

The article examines the aspects of psychological time perception by the senior pupils of secondary town schools with advanced level of education in comparison with a secondary village school. The description of psychological time perception is applied alongside with the comparative results of time perspective of personal and future life plans of senior pupils both of town and village schools.
