Growing up in Adolescence Ontogenesis: the Theoretical and Methodological Basis of Research

The article describes theoretical explanation of the empirical study of a teenager transiting to adulthood. The author puts emphasis on the problem of growing personality from childhood to adulthood during ontogenesis with such determinants of the integral development as the development of adulthood, maturity and understanding of the problems of self-realization and self-expression in the future.

The Problem of the Crisis Mature Age

In this article will be described theoretical approaches of mature age crises. The results showed that standard age crises are essential planned stages of mature human development, stipulated continu­ity developmental processes, self-actualization and self-identity of the person. The results of the empiric study were shown. The research was conducted among men and women of mature age (n = 446, 35– 45 years). As the diagnostic method was used the method «Symptoms of planned crisis» by N. V. Sivrikova to identify crisis phenomenon.

Individual and Psychological Characteristics of Adulting in Adolescent Ontogenesis Period

The article presents empirical research data regarding the process of modern adolescents’ adulting. The relevance of the study is conditioned by contradictions associated with changes in the adulthood criteria, avoidance of their standard understanding, lengthening the transition period from childhood to adulthood. The purpose of the study is to identify individual and psychological characteristics of adulting process in adolescents.
