Interrelationships between Subjective Values of Events Occurred in the Childhood and Socio-Psychological Attitudes

The paper provides theoretical analysis of the problem of interrelationships between childhood experiences and socio-psychological attitudes of a person. It presents the results of the empirical study, carried out on a sample of people (from 18 to 30 years old), including students of institutions of higher education, software engineers, bank employees, teachers and representatives of other professions, using the following psycho-dynamical instruments: «Diagnostics of sociopsychological attitudes of a person in the motivational-need sphere» (O. F. Potemkina), «Test on life-purpose orientations» (D. A. Leontiev), a questionnaire «Diagnostics of interpersonal relations» (T. Leary). The relations between positive and negative subjectively-rich emotionally tinged childhood events and characteristics of social-psychological attitudes of a person. There is a tendency of downward change in life-purpose index among respondents, who gave negative assessments of childhood events. The applied aspect of the problem under study can be implemented in consultative practice when evaluating and changing socio-psychological attitudes of a person.
